A Sample Energizer
- Have participants form teams of 2.
- Tell each one to observe the other
member of his or her team for 30 seconds.
- At the end of 30 seconds tell
team partners to turn back to back.
- Explain each individual is to
change 3 things about his/her appearance. Example: button up a collar, remove an earring,
untie a shoe, take off a ring, etc.
- After a minute on the
instructor's word the participants are to turn and identify each other's changes.
- Have participants trade partners
and repeat the energizer.
- Debrief your group:
* What causes us to not be
observant?
* What
are the costs of not being observant?
Is there snoring in your staff
meetings, training sessions or during your classes?
